Cytomegalovirus
-Cytomegalorvirus is a viral infection.
-Once this infection is in someone's body it goes through their blood stream until treated. When treated the infection dies and is still in their body but is inactive. This can take up to several weeks. It is either treated through IV's or the person takes it by mouth.
-The medicines that are used to treat cytomegalorvirus are either ganciclovir or inganciclovir.
-There is no cure for cytomegalorivirus.
-Cytomegalorvirus is spread through saliva, urine, body fluids, through pregnancy to the unborn fetus, and from organ transplants.
-The symptoms for cytomegalovirus are if the person who has it is experiencing abdominal pain, difficulty swallowing or pain when swallowing, nausea, and vomiting.

-At the age of 40 50%-80% get cytomegalovirus.
