Hepatitis B is also known as HBV. There are three common types of Hepatitis, A, B, & C. Hepatitis is the most common type of Hepatitis. HBV is most commonly an infection from a virus. If you often drink alcohol, you are more susceptible to get Hepatitis B.

The most common way to get Hepatitis B in the United States is through unprotected sexual encounters. It can also be transmitted through bodily fluids (blood) this can happen through sharing needles and straws. Out of all the types of Hepatitis, HBV is the most likely to be spread through sex.

Symptoms
Here are the early symptoms of Hepatitis B:
-Extreme tiredness
-Abdominal Pain
-Not wanting to eat (loss of appetite)
-Flu like symptoms (fever, headaches)
-Joint pains
Here are the later symptoms of HBV:
-Discolored urine and feces
-Jaundice (yellowing of eyes and skin)
-Liver damage and problems
-Liver inflammation that can cause cancer
-In extreme cases, death
Hepatitis B doesn't always have immediate symptoms. Even if they are immediate, they aren't always symptoms you are aware of. This can lead to liver damage, because you aren't sure that it's even there. It can take from 6 weeks to 6 months for the symptoms to appear. Teh
