How does it spread?
It can be spread by oral, anal and vaginal sex. It can also be passed during birth. It does NOT spread by kissing, sharing baths, towels, or a toilet seat.
Signs and SYMPTOMS
There are many different symptoms.
For females, some are, abdominal pain, fever, painful intercourse, painful urination, throwing up, and swelling in the vulva.
Some symptoms for males are, discharge from the penis, pain while urinating and more urine than usual.

Can it be cured or treated?
It can be cured with antibiotics. People diagnosed with gonorrhea often have chlamydia as well. If you have gonorrhea, there is a 50/50 chance you will have chlamydia. Your healthcare provider may treat you for both at the same time. Antibiotics are used to kill the bacteria. Different antibiotics are used to treat gonorrhea. If the antibiotics aren't taken properly, the infection will not be cured. Avoid all sexual content while you are being treated.

It can be very dangerous if it doesn't get treated it can cause an eye infection that could result in blindness. It can also affect organs, throat, eyes, heart, brain, skin, and joints. But those are less common.
Antibiotics/medicines
There are many different medicines/antibiotics to get rid of the bacteria for Gonorrhea. Some are, quinolones, penicillin, tetracycline, and sulfa drugs as well cephalosporins used to treat gonorrhea. When the bacteria becomes resistant to the antibiotics, they no longer can be killed by that medicine.
Tested
Some things you could do to get tested is, a urine test or a swab test. For a male, they would do a swab test on the urethra. For a female they would do a swab test in her cervix. Another thing you could do if you want to get tested is, you can go to a Planned Parenthood health center, clinic, private health care and a health department.
