Nongonoccal Urethritis is also known as NGU. NGU is a bacterial virus which is a virus that replicates within bacteria. Nongonoccal Urethritis is formed from Chlamydia. NGU can be spread by having unprotected sexual contact either oral, anal, or vaginal. It can be contained from spreading if you use a condom, and make sure to notify your partners if you believe you are starting to have symptoms of Nongonoccal Urethritis. NGU is a asymptomatic STI.

Symptoms:

- Difficult of painful urination
- Urinary frequency

Nongonoccal Urethritis can be treated! It can be treated with antibiotics such as tetracycline. Your partner might want to be treated as well to prevent infection. Once the treatment is over you will be cured of NGU. Nongonoccal Urethritis normally occurs in men between the ages of 15-30. If Nongonoccal Urethritis is not treated a person can experience swelling of the testicles and infection of the prostate gland.
